This training ride gives you probably the most variety of any training venue. It starts with a mid-town assault toward downtown. We take the pedestrian bridge and head toward Lewis & Clark monument. A paved trail ride ends at Big Lake Park where we take the flat bluffs road to Cresent…that concludes the warmup. After that, we experience over 5000 ft in climbing the gravel and paved roads of the bluffs. It is 40 miles of hard spin with a few hills to mix it up. Endurance building is the key with this ride. This is not a technical ride unless we add Lewis and Clark MTB trail if the trail is in good shape.
