2012 Races
Folks, we are adding information fast about our 2012 races. Currently, we have our Winter Trail Run Series which is a total of 3 trail runs put on at 3 awesome venues throughout the Omaha Metro Area.
The first trail run is the Chilly Cheeks Trail Run at Cunningham Lake in Omaha, NE. The second is the Frozen Toes Trail Run at Tranquility Park in Omaha, NE. The third and final trail run is the Frosty Fingers Trail Run at Swanson Park in Bellevue, NE. Please take a moment to check out each run’s information and consider joining us for an awesome trail running experience!
We also have information posted about the 2012 Wild Hare Adventure Race! We are really excited to partner once again with the Heartland Adventure Race Series and also, to make the Wild Hare AR the championship race of the series. This year, we are plotting a 12-18 hour long course and a 4-6 hour short course! Please check back frequently for registration information/deadlines and more information about this race!
We have other great races planned for 2012 as well. Keep an eye on the 2012 Races page of our website for details.

Have you all thought about doing a discounted package deal by signing up for all three races? It would be a great option if one could sign up for all three events at the same time and get a slight discount for doing so.
Thanks for the note…
We spend a lot of time meeting and talking about our fees. There are quite a few costs that go into putting on any race (insurance, awards, supplies, fees, etc..). Most of these fees are charged to us per racer. This is what dictates the price of the registration fee. We are promoting these races to get our name out in the community and get folks involved and active through the winter. So we have lowered our fee to about as low as we can to cover our expenses. Keep in mind that most 5k races in town, and on pavement, are priced around $30. Those races take less time to plan/map/organize. Our trail runs involve hours/days of planning and organization to ensure you have a great experience (and that no one gets lost).
I hope this helps. Thanks for the note. We will always try to keep our races well organized, fun, and professional while keeping our fees low.
Thanks,
Justin
